Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP
Details
Smith Currie has counseled companies in dealing with the unique aspects of government contracts and construction law for more than 50 years. We help contractors prepare to win and successfully perform contracts both directly with the federal agencies and with the many prime contractors that support them.
Smith Currie provides legal representation at all stages of the federal government contracting process. We regularly represent clients before the General Accountability Office (GAO) in bid protests and bid mistake claims involving federal projects. We work with clients to ensure their compliance with all applicable regulations and policies related to the Small Business Act, including preference programs such as the 8(a) program for small, disadvantaged businesses, the HUBZone empowerment contracting program for small businesses in historically underutilized business zones, the women-owned and veteran-owned small business programs, and agency small business set-aside programs. We also assist large businesses in matters relating to their small business subcontracting plans.
